Impressing your guests has never been easier. These eight vibrant florals are the perfect addition to any living space. From African Violets to Orchids, these blooming beauties are sure to spark up a conversation.

African Violet

These beautiful little flowers come in a variety of colors, and with the proper care, this small plant can grow to the diameter of a dinner plate. With soft fuzzy leaves and flowers that bloom year-round, this plant makes for a great Valentines or Mother's Day gift.

Peace Lily

This soft white flower blooms upwards of twice a year. Often associated with peace and love, it makes for a wonderful housewarming gift. However it is worth noting that this plant is toxic to both people and pets, so those with curious children or furry companions should exercise caution.

Geranium

This aromatic plant blooms year-round, and even the leaves emit a sweet floral scent. Known for it's beautiful color variety, the Geranium plant is low effort and high reward. Pluck each flower that dries up and two more bushels are sure to take it's place.

Begonia

This popular and low-maintenance flower can bloom year-round indoors when given just a little fertilizer. The Begonia is is a forgiving plant that can thrive in the shade, making it the perfect plant for table-tops and counters.

Bromeliad

This flowering plant brings a slice of the tropics straight to your living room. The large, vibrant flowers resemble a pineapple top and don't need to be kept in a pot. Similarly to air plants, they can be fastened to a wall and grown upright. Bromeliad's can also be watered using the center 'cup' of the flower.

Christmas Cactus

This quirky cactus produces beautiful blooms if you've got enough patience. It thrives in moist, loamy soil and is most likely to flower when kept in darkness for around 13 hours each night. Unlike most cacti, the Christmas Cactus prefers the shade and cooler temperatures to bloom.

Amaryllis

Often started indoors as a bulb, this beautiful plant produces large aromatic flowers and can be moved outside when roots are well established if you so wish. Once the bulb is planted, you can expect to see a vibrant floral display in 10 to 12 weeks. Amaryllis is however toxic to both pets and people, so those with curious children or furry friends should exercise caution.

Orchids

The popularity of this beautiful plant has spiked and for good reason. These classic low-maintenance flowers can be found in both garden centers and grocery stores, and come in nearly every color you could imagine. Orchids prefer an exposed root system and require very little water to thrive. If you keep your home on the cooler side, this beautiful flower will bloom year-round.
